Responsibilities of the QA teams
University QA Board (QT4)

The responsibilities of QT4 are:
  • To represent the university as the highest level of QA authority university wide to external stakeholders,
    To establish and institute any policies as recommended by ONESQA and CHE,
  • To monitor the performance of the CFE to ensure that the AuQS 2000 is successfully managed and implemented.
  • To appoint the chairs of the internal audit and assessment team will appoint members of their team and appoint a member of the team as the secretary. Each team will be responsible for certain academic and administrative units as assigned by the chair.

Academic Senate and Administrative Senate (QT3)
The responsibilities of the QT 3 are:

  • To ensure that the academic and administrative KPIs are in line with the CHE and ONESQA requirements,
  • To ensure that there is a unanimous consensus, acceptance and implementation of the KPIs in their units of supervision.

Academic and Administrative QA teams (QT2 and QT1)
Depending on the structure and the size of the academic units, some will have 2 level and some will have only 1 level. An example is a faculty that has a few departments under it, structured under discipline or work specialization. In this case, it will have the QT2 headed by the faculty dean with the department chairs as members. For each of the department, it will have the QT1 headed by their respective chairperson with lecturers serving as members of the team.

Responsibilities of QT2

  • To create an environment conducive for the successful implementation and achievement as prescribed in the AuQs 2000 QA Manual,
  • To ensure that all the departments under its unit of responsibility comply with the AuQS2000 and to support, maintain, implement and achieve the quality standards of the university,
  • To ensure that all the departments under its unit of responsibility carry out its internal audit and assessment that comply with the AuQS 2000,
  • To prepare the unit level SSR scorebook and SAR report to be submitted to the CFE,
  • To prepare the unit for internal audit and assessment by Internal Audit and Assessment team assigned to them.

Responsibilities of QT1
  • To involve all unit members and ensure that everyone prescribe to and achieve the quality standards as required of by the university prescribed under the AuQS QA Manuals,
  • To audit and assess their department of responsibility in compliance with the AuQS2000 standards and criteria,
Responsibilities of Internal Audit and Assessment Team
The main responsibilities of the Internal and Assessment team are as follows:
  • To ensure that all units have properly conducted the SSR scorebook and the SAR report within the policies guidelines as established,
  • To ensure that their assigned academic and administrative units are audited and assessed based on the AuQS 2000 guidelines and criteria as established,
  • To produce an internal audit and assessment report for each of the unit audited and assessed.
  • To communicate to the unit audited and assessed on the academic year performance, and
  • To make recommendations to the unit audited, assessed, and ensure that the recommendations are implemented in the next audit cycle.
